When it comes to K-Pop artists, there isn’t any set number of songs that they’re expected to release each year. While fans of a group will always be excited for new music from their favorite artists, most of them also like to see a balance of work and rest so idols can stay healthy and happy. That being said, there is a huge difference in how many songs different third generation boy groups have released in their careers, and therefore, a much different number of average songs released per year!
Here’s a look at the average number of songs released by 15 K-Pop boy groups each year, based on their total songs released and how many years they’ve been active. Note that the number of songs for each artist does not include instrumentals, alternate language versions of original songs, remixes, or sub-unit/solo songs promoted outside of the group.
