BTS Tops Boy Group Brand Reputation in August

In August 2023, BTS emerged as the leading boy group in terms of brand reputation. The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation conducted an analysis of 57,141,655 boy group brand big data from July 12 to August 12, 2023, using consumer behavior analysis. This analysis included factors such as the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index to determine the brand reputations of boy groups.

Understanding Brand Reputation Index

The brand reputation index is a crucial indicator formed through the analysis of brand big data. It recognizes the significant influence that consumers' online habits have on brand consumption. When it comes to boy group brand reputation analysis, it measures the positive evaluation of boy groups, media and consumer interests in them, and the level of communication with these groups. Additionally, it takes into account brand reputation recommendation data that consumers actively participate in.

The top 30 boy groups' brand reputations for August 2023 are as follows: BTS, SEVENTEEN, EXO, INFINITE, Zero Base One, NCT, THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, SHINee, MONSTA X, BTOB, 2PM, ENHYPEN, TREASURE, Super Junior, ASTRO, TEEN TOP, WINNER, ATEEZ, TXT, Wanna One, TVXQ, Pentagon, Golden Child, VIXX, Big Bang, ONF, Boy Next Door, SHINHWA, and GOT7.

Koo Chang Hwan, the director of the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, stated, "As a result of big data analysis in August 2023, the BTS brand ranked first." He further explained, "The BTS brand, which secured the top spot in the boy group brand reputation analysis for August 2023, was found to be associated with 'recorded, released, enlisted' in the link analysis. In the keyword analysis, 'Jungkook, V, and photo cards' were identified as highly significant. Moreover, the positive ratio in the positive and negative ratio analysis stood at an impressive 85.11%."
