Lee Hyo Ri praises Kim Wan Sun’s dance performance of NewJeans’s “Hype Boy”

Singer Kim Wan Sun perfectly performed NewJeans’s hit song “Hype Boy”.

The first broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “Dancing Queens on the Road” on May 25th depicts the members gathering for a poster photoshoot before their full-fledged dance performance.

Kim Wan Sun was the last person to arrive at the site. Immediately after seeing Kim Wan Sun, Lee Hyo Ri exclaimed, “But unnie, the thing on the Internet…how did you do that?”, mentioning the hit song “Hype Boy” by the girl group NewJeans. Kim Wan Sun shyly said, “I didn’t think I can dance well, but the reactions were better than I thought”.

Lee Hyo Ri said, “I can’t stop seeing it”, then asked Kim Wan Sun to do a cover dance. As soon as the music started, Kim Wan Sun showcased flexible dance moves with her long arms and legs. Watching the performance, the members gave a standing ovation and exclaimed, “As expected. She’s Kim Wan Sun”. Lee Hyo Ri also praised Kim Wan Sun, saying “Your dance moves are so beautiful.”

Meanwhile, “Dancing Queens on the Road” is about the national concert tour in which Korea’s top artists, such as Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA, and Hwasa, travel around the country, enter the daily lives of people, meet fans face to face and enjoy music together.
