The 1st Wave Music Awards: Celebrating Chinese Music

The 1st Wave Music Awards ceremony, organized by the Wave Music Committee and hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, took place in Chengdu, China, on August 24. This prestigious event recognized outstanding achievements in the Chinese music industry, honoring artists across various categories.

Recognizing Excellence in Chinese Music

The Wave Music Awards presented a total of 35 awards, including Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Male Artist, and Best Female Artist. Eason Chan's "Homo Sapiens" was crowned Song of the Year, while G.E.M.'s "Revelation" earned the title of Album of the Year. Jay Chou's "Greatest Works of Art" was honored as Record of the Year.
