BLACKPINK’s Jisoo And aespa’s NingNing Wore The Same “Dark Gothic Goddess” Versace Dress In Completely Different Ways

K-Pop’s 3rd and 4th generations continue to dominate the global fashion scene, with new designer partnerships frequently forming between fashion’s top companies and K-Pop’s top stars and idols constantly attending fashion’s most prestigious events.

Recently, aespa became the first K-Pop group to attend Cannes Film Festival together. The members were there as the new face of the luxury jewelry company Chopard.

Fans’ first look at the four gorgeous members was at the Cannes Chopard Art Gala, where they each stunned netizens with their unreal visuals while modeling eye-catching jewelry from Chopard.

For her Cannes Film Festival debut, NingNing looked incredible in a black Versace dress from their 2023 Spring/Summer collection, which pays homage to the “dark gothic goddess.”

NingNing paired the dress with black over-the-knee lace stockings to complete the glamorous gothic look and stunning silver jewelry to add a spark of color. The simple and perfectly fitted styling allowed NingNing to shine during her Cannes Film Festival debut, and netizens couldn’t get enough of the look.

BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo recently wore the same Versace dress but in a completely different way.

Jisoo made her long-awaited solo debut on March 31, releasing the music video for her title track, “FLOWER,” in which she rotated between a beautiful collection of designer dresses.

One of the dresses was the same Versace dress NingNing wore in Cannes, but in purple.

Jisoo accessorized with purple lace over-the-knee stockings and flowy ribbons on her arm and wrist.

She wore her hair in long waves and added a layered pearl necklace as a regal accent. Her bright styling had a goddess-like beauty and a more whimsical look compared to the gothic glam of NingNing’s styling.

Both idols looked phenomenal in their Versace dresses and rocked styles that were true to them.
